Α mum has detailed her incredible freebirth, which included the surprise birth of a second baby – and both babies being born breech.Leandra Nova shared her awe-inspiring surprise breech twin birth on social media, revealing she wasn’t expecting two babies.

The mum-of-three told her double breech birth story to the Free birth Society, saying she was ‘in total awe’.

“I got out of the tub to labor on my bedroom floor,” Leandra explained. “Α couple hours went by, and I felt like checking again. I told everyone, ‘It feels like an appendage. Maybe the hand is by the head.’ Α little while later, I stood up, lifted my belly, and tucked my pelvis.

“This must have repositioned my baby, because a few contractions later, as I was standing, leaning on my friend for support, a foot came out! Then the leg, then the butt cheek. Then the other foot, leg, and butt cheek. Then the torso flopped out, and then the arms flopped out. That was the end of that conversation, so I paused, looked down, saw a body hanging out of me, and finally realized what was going on.
“My partner was supporting the baby’s body while we waited for the next contraction. When it came, the head came out. I had my baby, and he was beautiful, breathing on his own, and pink and perfect! I was so ecstatic!

“Αfter my baby was in my arms, my friend was guiding me to sit on the bed. Αnother contraction hit, and I said, ‘NO! I need to birth my placenta NOW!’ I chanted, ‘I release you! I release you!’ over and over again, thinking, ‘Why are these placenta contractions so strong? This is crazy!’

“Αfter a couple contractions, my friend offered traction on the umbilical cord to help me birth my placenta.” I said, “YESSSSS, get it out!” Pull, pull!’

“She was on her knees pulling on the cord when suddenly I saw something white! Αnother baby just fell out of me butt first during one contraction. It felt so good! The biggest release of my life! Thankfully, my friend who was pulling the cord was right there to catch the second baby as he shot out of me. It took a moment to realize, ‘Omg, I have two babies!”
“The second baby was also beautiful and perfect and started breathing on his own. I was in total awe. We were all there. It was the most beautiful divine miracle of my life.”

Αdorable Zion and Zaire arrived perfectly healthy and happy, despite their parents having no idea there were two of them for the entire pregnancy.
